What is Body Contouring?

How Does SculpSure Work?
The SculpSure system is a device that delivers targeted laser energy to heat fat cells under your skin without affecting the surface of your skin. In about 25 minutes, using thermal (heat) energy, the SculpSure treatment destroys fat cells in the desired area of your body. Over the course of about three months, your lymphatic system eliminates the damaged fat cells.
The fat cells are permanently removed and don’t return to that specific area of your body. You can treat your belly, love handles, back, thighs, and double chin with SculpSure. For best results, most adults need a series of treatments.

What is the difference between SculpSure and CoolSculpting®?
SculpSure and CoolSculpting are both noninvasive contouring treatments that help get rid of stubborn fat. Although both treatments take advantage of lipolysis — the destruction of fat cells — to eliminate belly fat, love handles, back fat, and more, the process they use to achieve fat loss is different. CoolSculpting freezes fat cells to eliminate them, while SculpSure is performed by targeting fat cells with advanced laser technology.
CoolSculpting uses a vacuum-like applicator on the treatment area, compared to the flat SculpSure applicator. This makes CoolSculpting a slightly more invasive treatment than SculpSure, as it often leaves behind redness and bruising from the suction. SculpSure can also treat four areas at one time, while CoolSculpting can only treat one. For a less invasive treatment, SculpSure is the best option to suit your needs.
What Can I Expect During My Body Contouring Treatment?
During a SculpSure body contouring treatment, you feel a cooling sensation on your skin to keep you comfortable. The laser cycles on and off to increase the temperature of your fat cells. As the laser heats up, you may feel a warm or tingling sensation that is typically easy to tolerate. The cooling device stays on during the entire treatment.
Immediately following your SculpSure body contouring treatment, you can resume your daily activities, without needing time for rest or recovery. You can see the results of your treatment in as soon as six weeks, as your body eliminates the damaged fat cells.
